INDIVIDUAL & COUPLES THERAPY
Step out of the patterns that keep you stuck.
In-person on Bainbridge Island · Online throughout Washington State.
Relationships are complicated. So are people.
Maybe you keep having the same argument with your partner, even though you've promised each other it would be different next time. Maybe you're exhausted from overthinking, taking care of everyone else, or feeling like you've lost touch with yourself somewhere along the way.
Whatever brought you here, you probably know that something needs to change. You just might not know where to start.
Sound Familiar?
You replay conversations in your head, wondering what you should have said or done differently.
You're good at taking care of everyone else, but aren't always sure what you need
You find yourself reacting in ways you don't particularly like, even when you know better.
You're navigating a new chapter of life and aren't quite sure where you fit into it anymore.
You've done a lot of thinking about your struggles. Now you'd really like something to change.
If any of this resonates, you're in the right place.
Couples Therapy
You can love someone deeply and still struggle to understand each other. The same arguments keep happening, small disagreements turn into big ones, or you find yourselves feeling more like roommates than partners.
I help couples understand what’s happening beneath the conflict, communicate more openly, and find their way back to each other. The goal isn’t to stop disagreeing, but to maintain connection even when things get hard.
Individual Therapy
Maybe you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or disconnected from yourself. You might be navigating a difficult relationship, questioning what you want, or finding the ways you’ve always handled things aren’t working anymore.
I help individuals better understand themselves, work through life’s challenges, and build more confidence in who they are and how they show up in their relationships.
Another Way to Work Together
Sometimes, an hour just isn’t enough.
My relationship intensives offer dedicated time to work on what matters most to you. Whether you’re working through recurring conflicts, preparing for marriage, or are simply wanting to strengthen your connection, these extended sessions give us the space to go deeper than a traditional therapy session allows.
I'm a marriage and family therapist, and I'm endlessly curious about why we do the things we do, especially with the people we love most.
I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation. I'll listen carefully, ask questions, offer perspective, and sometimes gently challenge you. I'm not interested in simply nodding along while you tell me what's wrong. I want to help you understand what's happening and figure out what to do with that understanding.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, with room for humor and the reality of being human.
I see clients in a cozy yurt on Bainbridge Island, surrounded by gardens and trees. It's a peaceful, comfortable space where we can settle in and do meaningful work together.
Hi, I’m Megan.
You don't have to figure it all out before reaching out.
Finding a therapist that is the right fit be challenging. You want someone who understands what you're going through, but also someone you can imagine sitting across from and having an honest conversation with.
I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation so we can talk about what you're looking for, answer any questions, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
